I just saw it at their site, and I think that it is great if you like BATMAN Collectibles.  If you preorder the game ARKHAM CITY at Toys R Us, then you will get this beautiful limited edition LEGACY ARKHAM CITY 1970 BATSUIT Batman figure (Not sure, if it is with any game or the Deluxe Edition of Arkham City, probably the latter).

I know…some of these might be old, but the truth is that there is so much out there to keep up it is easy sometimes to get lost on the whole thing.  Anyways, I found a source of more incentives added to the Arkham City Preorders and to the moment  I HAVE NOT HEARD OF ANY HARLEY QUINN SKINS being added to the game (but do not doubt they will come, after all they have the base with the Catwoman downloadable content). If anybody knows any different, please let me know so I can post it here, OK?

Anyways, here’s the latest scoop:

ROBIN PLAYABLE CHARACTER

Just at one week for the release of ARKHAM CITY, the much anticipated sequel to 2009’s ARKHAM ASYLUM, images of yet another two villains join the gigabytes of information already loaded the gaming media.  Here are they in a nutshell

1.  New Robin Character comes fully playable in two maps to be included in the preorder of the game. (no specific retailer was announced, but BEST BUY had been announcing a Robin skin incentive if you ordered the game with them, so I don’t know.  The Robins are in reality three.  The hooded ninja looking one and two additional skins: RED ROBIN and TRADITIONAL ROBIN

Well, after the blow that Joker might actually die at the end of ARKHAM CITY, I tried to lighten up the atmosphere with a pic of the new NIGHTWING from the game.  I don’t know.  I think I don’t like the way he was modeled.  I prefer the one in the comics, especially the one in NIGHTWING #1 (see thumb at the bottom of page). Here is the ARKHAM NIGHTWING preview”

I was browsing the net and found this report at the TMR ZOO. It is about a preview on ARKHAM CITY where it is said that JOKER DIES!!!!.

Here is tha actual quote from Jonah Falcon’s article:

In CVG’s preview of Batman: Arkham City, it seems that The Joker does
end up dead.

After forcing Hammer’s face into the ground with our knuckles we grapple up
to the room in Sionis Industries where Joker’s been hiding out, medical support
and all. The kick ass, justice dealing tone soon changes when we see Harley
Quinn clutching at The Joker in his chair, crying over his limp body.

Batman tells Quinn to move, she refuses and The Dark Knight’s usually calm
voice sparks a sharp tone of almost desperate urgency as he commands Harley to
move, grabbing her arm and throwing her aside.

Detective Mode confirms The Clown Prince of Crime is dead. It’s a ballsy
decision and one that would usually be reserved for the comics alone. But most
importantly it’s a massive twist that any of the many Arkham City reveals could
never have prepared us for.

It’s hard to believe it’s not just a trick by The Joker, but who knows?

industry news, trailers and rumors.

I personally think that Joker is a character that you never can trust especially when dying is concerned (how many times the Clown has been killed, poisoned, run over by car, stabbed, drowned before only to reappear in another issue?), and a resource for future games as a powerful contender.  Of course, there is also the other half of the storyl.  So far in both the comic book series of ARKHAM CITY  by DC and the game trailers we’ve seen it is suggested that Joker’s state is irreversible and progressive, that the poison has permanently damaged him beyond repair. The Clown Prince is just a character and both Rocksteady and DC can do as they please with him, but It is a risky business to try something like that, in my humble opinion. Joker is so iconic a character that his death will leave a lot of fans of the game with a sour taste on their mouths.  I don’t know what to believe. I ordered the game and I just hope that this is a rumor…

Hey Jokerholics,

Our friends at MTV UK, have gotten hold of Jokerdom gold!  They have the brand new ARKHAM CITY JOKER TRAILER and are sharing it with the world at their site.  I saw it and my jaw dropped. In one word, magnificent. Mark Hamill once more steals the show giving us a wonderful and at the same time terrifying view of our favorite psychopath.

If only I could take this video as legit…that would be awesome. but I doubt it part of the real game. I know there has been rumors of Joker and Batman eventually joining forces against Strange, but NOWHERE have a seen any video like the one I am about to show you.  Definitely it keeps the Joker-Batman chemistry we are all so used to (reminded me of the Batman Joker confrontation video from DCU Mortal Combat).  For now, just enjoy
