Yes, Jokerholics.

DC Direct has announced the release of yet another Harley Quinn Action Figure in 2015 as part of the NEW 52 line.  This figure is based on Harley Quinn’s comic series and features her with gun  and mallet on hand over a pair of roller skates.  This figure is to be on the 6.75 inches tall range.  Here is a preview:

Following my previous post…Play Arts is also releasing a companion variant Harley Quinn Figure next year to follow the incredible DC Variant Joker figure. (I reported this before. see HERE)  I am not a big fan of Harley Quinn but DC sometimes nails it with the design of their figures and this one is one of those.  She is beautifully extravagant (like her psychotic puddin’) and the combination of Blue, Red, White and Black just add a certain beauty to her outfit.  Just like Joker she looks very ANIME and that is a nice touch.I think its a better outfit than the current 52 counterpart  I will probably get her too.

Expect the release of this figure next year and the price tag close to the $100.  In the meantime…enjoy this little preview

Play Arts is releasing another action figure featuring the CLOWN PRINCE OF CRIME in 2015, but this one is very different from the other ones released before. See my previous report HERE

While they have released figures based on the ARKHAM ASYLUM  and ARKHAM CITY JOKER, as well as a THE DARK KNIGHT JOKER and am ARKHAM ORIGINS JOKER, this one is a new and different interpretation with no real base in any of the continuities we know (unless there is some JOKERMANGA out there that I don’t know of and if is…please let me know).  Anyways, this Joker is beautifully stylized, and so wild in it’s design that it does not matter if it does not belong in the Batman Universe, it is a beautiful piece to own.  I love the exaggerated and flamboyant style of the whole assemble the figure wears and the face is definitely a beauty to see…let me show you what I mean with a preview.

Figure is to be released on 2015 with a price tag very close to the $100. Click on the thumbnails for more….

As announced in Toy Fare this year, Hot Toys is releasing a new version of the TDK Bank Robber Joker. This new action figure includes new head sculpts and weapons along with the same clothing style that we saw with the bank robber version 1.0. Also, in the spirit of the 1989 Joker Mime version, It includes a nice diorama scene of the bus smashing into the bank.

Here is a preview of the figure. Release date TBD (at least I have not seen it advertised in my latest PREVIEWS catalog…)

Also from PLAY ARTS comes a new line of figures called DC VARIANTS and basically they are re-imagining of some of DC’s heroes and villains.  In this series, with a release date to be determined, Joker and Harley Quinn steal the show with this stylized version of their DC Counterparts.  To me they look a little ANIME…don’t you think? (Thanks to TOYARK for the pictures)

This one comes a little late so sorry for not posting sooner but PLAY ARTS announced in the TOY FAIR 2014 earlier this year their new ARKHAM ORIGINS JOKER FIGURE. Like their previous Joker versions, this one will come with uncanny detail from the videogame, great craftsmanship (that has always categorized PLAY ARTS) and a number of accessories including additional hands and weapons as well as another head sculpt.  Release date to be determined at press time, but I will be putting this one on my wish list for sure… Here is a preview of the figure to delight your eyes.

DC Collectibles has announced the release of new action figures based on the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES and NEW BATMAN ADVENTURE SERIES.  The figures are totally new based on original designs by Bruce Timm, and from the looks of the preview…they look awesome. I especially like the more detailed designs and Joker’s more menacing stance is incredible (when compared with the more cartoony version of the original action figures released in the 90’s)

The figures include Two-Face, Joker, Poison Ivy, Robin and Mr. Freeze and are being released in two waves.  Joker , Poison Ivy and Robin will be released by the end of the year. Here is a preview:

DC Collectibles, the company that had brought us a plethora of beautiful creations on the BLACK AND WHITE statue series, focus their attention once more on the Clown Prince of Crime and use him for inspiration of their next statue.

In time for DC’s 75th year Anniversary the statue is based on the designs by comic book artist Dick Sprang.  The sculpture is scheduled to be released later on this year (possibly fall) and at current price of these figures, it will probably sell for about $69.99.  Here is  the unfinished preview:

New52HQBust01DC Collectibles has announced a new HARLEY QUINN Bust based on her NEW 52 look to be released in September 2014.  Normally I don’t give much for her new look and would have skipped the idea of buying it ( I’m a Joker collector anyways)  but this one is designed by JIM LEE!!! It is impossible to pass this one this time with the other busts in the series showing such dynamism and quality.  So yes, I’m, sold into getting her.  Check this out…
